Signature Drive for Jobs Not Jails Continues

Boston Workers Alliance (BWA) and EPOCA (Ex-prisoners and Prisoners Organizing for Community Advancement) are coordinating a statewide “Jobs Not Jails” campaign and coalition (more info here). The campaign is gathering 50,000 signatures by March 31, 2014 calling on the governor and state legislators not to build more prisons but use state funds for jobs instead. The campaign is organizing a 10,000-person rally on Boston Common on April 26, Noon, Boston Common.
